A mountain lion seen prowling around the Laguna Lake area has been caught and relocated, the city of San Luis Obispo announced Friday afternoon. The lion — which had been 'causing concern for many' in the area — was safely trapped by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, the city announced in a tweet. 'They relocated the lion to a remote area and put a GPS tracker on it,' the city said. 'It is not expected to return to #SLOCity.' Reports of mountain lion sightings in San Luis Obispo County have gone up in the past few years, with a number of pictures and videos of the animals in local neighborhoods popping up online in recent months.
